Frequently asked Questions

  • Can you waive my deductible?

No. the deductible is a contract between you and your insurance company. Not collecting a deductible is fraud.

  • Who do I pay my deductible to?

You are responsible to pay your deductible to Ron’s Body Shop when you pick up your vehicle.

  • Am I required to get more than one estimate?

No. unless stated in your insurance policy. As a vehicle owner you have the right to choose who repairs your vehicle. There is no law stating that you must obtain three estimates.

  • Are you open on Saturday?

Yes. We are open on saturday for vehicle pickup and appointment only.

  • Will the parts be ordered before I drop off my vehicle for repair?

Yes. If your vehicle is deemed drivable. We will order the parts for your vehicle the same day you get your estimate. We will then schedule you in the same day your parts arrive. This will allow us to speed up your repair process by not waiting on parts and getting your vehicle back to you as soon as possible.

  • Where do I get a claim number?

Your claim number will be giving to you by your insurance company when you report an accident. When you come in to get your vehicle repaired bring this number with you.

  • Do you have a warranty?

Yes. We offer a limited lifetime warranty on all repairs made on your vehicle.

Body Warranty

The labor performed by Ron’s Body Shop is guaranteed against any defect in workmanship for as long as you own your vehicle.

Ron’s Body Shop will, at our expense, correct or repair all defects which are attributable to defective or faulty workmanship in the repairs stated on the repair invoice, unless caused by damage resulting from unreasonable use, improper care of the vehicle.

This warranty covers labor only and does not apply to parts, material or equipment which may be covered by manufacturer’s warranty.

Paint Warranty

Ron’s Body Shop guarantees your paint against any defects for as long as you own your vehicle. This does not cover: chips, nicks, road damage, or improper care of the vehicle.

  • What if my frame is damaged on my vehicle?

If your frame is damaged don’t worry. Ron’s Body Shop has all the equipment and trained technicians to repair the frame damage on your car.

  • Can I get other service work done on my vehicle while it is in the shop?

Yes. Just let us know and we will make the arrangements.

  • How long will the repairs on my vehicle take?

Depending on the amount of the damage repair times will vary. When you receive your estimate the estimator will give you the time it will take to repair your vehicle.

  • Do you provide vehicle pick up and drop off?

Yes. Just let us know and we can arrange for you to be picked up or dropped off at your convenience.

  • How can I get a rental car?

If you are in need of a rental car, we can help you make the necessary arrangements.

  • When will I be notified when my car is ready?

We will notify you within 24 hours of the expected completion time of your car. That way you can make the necessary arrangements to pick up your vehicle. If you can not find a time to pick up your vehicle, we can deliver it to you at your convenience.

  • What forms of¬†payment do you accept?

We accept the following payments: cash, insurance checks, certified checks, Visa debit/credit cards, and Master Card debit/credit cards.

Also note: If the check is made out to you and someone else (i.e. lean older/finance company), it is your responsibility to have them endorse the check or have your insurance company change the check so there is no delay in the pick up of your vehicle.

  • What are betterment charges?

Betterment charges are parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use. Examples of these include tires, batteries, suspension components, and etc. Many of these items are subjected to betterment charges when being replaced. These charges are determined and pro-rated, by your insurance company, based on mileage and age.

  • What happens if you find additional damage that was not listed on the original estimate?

It is not uncommon to find additional damage that was incurred in the accident when the vehicle has been disassembled. When your estimate was made is was written with damage that was visible at the time. If this happens we will notify you and/or your insurance company about this before we continue on the repairs to your vehicle.

  • Can you match the original paint color on my car?

Yes. Ron’s Body Shop has made a commitment to you as our customer that our paint will match and satisfy you. Our paint is also guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle.
